Eid announcement & COVID update

Eid prayer will NOT be offered at Altoona MasjidEid al-Fitr will be celebrated on Sunday, May 24

We have recently received questions regarding the reopening of the masjid after governor’s safe at home order was overturned, Altoona masjid board is continuously monitoring the situation and following the recommendations of the CDC and local authorities. Even though the Eau Claire county is allowing religious gathering to resume, it will be unwise to do so given the recent increase in COVID-19 cases in Eau Claire. The safety of our community is very important to us and we are working hard to establish prayers at Altoona Masjid responsibly and safely in the coming weeks. We will soon have good news to share in-sha-Allah!
