Eid-ul-Adha 2020

The moon for the month of Dhul-Hijjah was sighted and Wednesday July 22nd was the first day for the month of Dhul-Hijjah. Therefore Eid-ul-adha will be on Friday July 31st, 2020. This recommendation is based on advice from Fiqh Council of North America and ISNA. تَقَبَّلَ اللهُ مِنَّا وَمِنكُم

Unfortunately there will be no Eid prayer at Altoona Mosque this year due to CoVID-19 pandemic.

Board position vacancy

Brother Abubakr will be moving out of town by the end of this month. He will therefore not be able to perform his duties on the Altoona Mosque board after his move.  The position for the secretary will fall vacant as a result.  The Altoona mosque board is therefore inviting interest/applications for the position of secretary on the Altoona Mosque board. The term will end on 12-31-2020.
We will like to thank brother Abubakr for his untiring work and efforts in helping us with activities of the board and community. May Allah (SWT) reward him highly for his efforts.
If you are interested please contact the board or email us using the button below.
