Islamic Society of Northern Wisconsin is an Islamic Center and mosque which has been registered with the State of Wisconsin and the IRS as a non profit corporation since 1991. It serves the religious needs of local Muslim families. It provides religious services for adults and operates a Sunday school service for children. The mosque also hosts regular visits and offers Islamic education for local Wisconsin Universities, such as the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire and the University of Wisconsin – Stout, as well as to local schools, churches and community organizations.
It is governed by an Executive Board of 4 elected members and headed by the president.
The Committee on Charitable Giving is one of the board’s committees that is entrusted to manage charitable trusts including the Mahmoud Taman Trust.
